Description

Chocolate Berry Bites are a simple and delicious no-bake treat featuring fresh strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries dipped in smooth melted dark chocolate. Perfect for a healthy dessert or snack, these bites offer a delightful combination of sweet, tart berries and rich chocolate with optional toppings like sea salt or crushed nuts for extra flavor and texture.

Ingredients

Scale

Fruits

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
  • ½ cup fresh blueberries
  • ½ cup fresh raspberries

Chocolate Coating

  • 1 cup dark or semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil (optional, for smoother melting)

Toppings (Optional)

  • Sea salt
  • Crushed nuts

Instructions

  1. Prepare baking sheet: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking and make cleanup easy.
  2. Rinse and dry berries: Thoroughly rinse the strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries. Dry them well to ensure the chocolate adheres properly.
  3. Melt the chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and coconut oil (if using). Microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring between each, until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.
  4. Dip berries in chocolate: Dip each individual berry or small cluster of berries into the melted chocolate, allowing any excess to drip off back into the bowl.
  5. Place on baking sheet: Set the chocolate-coated berries on the prepared parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Add toppings: Sprinkle sea salt or crushed nuts on top of the chocolate-coated berries if desired for extra flavor and texture.
  7. Chill to set: Refrigerate the baking sheet for 15–20 minutes or until the chocolate is fully set and firm.
  8. Serve and store: Serve the chocolate berry bites chilled. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Notes

  • Use mini cupcake liners to serve the bites cleanly and portioned.
  • For variety, try using white or milk chocolate instead of dark chocolate.
  • You can drizzle a contrasting type of melted chocolate over the top before chilling for a decorative touch.
